I'm starting to see odd voltages on my a/f gauge. Sometimes during decelleration, i'll hit as low as -.10, and sometimes i hit negative voltages while in closed loop (like -.02-.06)

Guess it's time to replace my o2 sensor, but my question is: If this has ever happened to you, how much did it throw off your WOT readings? Right now, i'm either stupid lean or right where i anna be, depending on exactly how "off" my voltages are. Scary, huh ?

Mine does the same thing quite often. Its fine one second, then messed up the next.

Lately its been ok since I got a better ground, but for some reason my engine has been automatically making itself really rich which throws off the o2 sensor and gives me wacky readings all over the board.

it doesn't bog. In fact, it's running quite well. i'm impressed :-) I'm just not sure how it is affecting my WOT readings, since i've seen the thing bottom out at -.10 and -.11 .. WOT, third gear, i get .94 slowly dropping to .93-2-1 as i near redline. Which is right where i want it to be.. Unless my readings are off.

You should not see any appreciable negative voltages. "-0.008" or something is fine, but certainly not "-0.1". This means that you have a bad ground. Your oxygen sensor is grounded at a "lower potential" than your A/F gage. You need to find a "lower potential" ground, preferably the same as the oxygen sensor. Try where the ECU wiring grounds to the chassis. I had the exact same problem until I switched my ground to where the ECU ground is bolted to the chassis. For me it was near where the stock airbox was. There are several wires grounded there.

That's a thought .. i didn't even consider that. My jumptronix is grounded to the bracket the ecu sits in. So would i be better off using one of the ECU grounds, like the wire my AFC grounds to?

Don't use the S-AFC ground. Ground where the ECU grounds to the chassis. I had the worst problem (neg volt) when I had mine hooked to the AFC. I was getting voltages as low as -0.02V. The problem immediately dissapeared when I moved my ground to the ECU chassis ground.

The arrow that points to the blue thing is where my gauge is grounded. The other arrow points to the ECU. The dashed line is the three wire bundle from the Jumptronix. The green wire goes to the ECU's O2 sensor wire.

Is that what you mean by ECU-chassis ground?

I can't see that picture for shit...so here's a picture of my ground point. I found it using the electrical manual. The ECU grounds to this point several times (weird). Moving my ground here made my A/F gage read perfectly. Its under the fuse box. It may be harder to get to on your car...I've removed so sheetmetal where the stock airbox got air.
