My compression test gauge came with a screw on extension. I screwed it on, put it in the spark plug hole. But when I pulled out the gauge, the extension piece stayed in there, and now I can't get it out!

I'll keep trying, please hook up some advice if ya can...

Just a little public flogging here redline; You resurrect a thread from 2003 because you were "panicking" and it did not give a conclusion of how to fix it. YET you have a fix, but didn't post it up here for all those future searchers. Good use of the search button, bad conclusion ;-).

Just a bit of a pet peeve from a heavy searcher.

Oh yeah, redline's fix was to super glue a piece of "something" onto the stuck head of the comp tester, then spin it out. From his other post, I believe that's right.

Wouldn't it be smart to lube before insertion first?

Just asking. I've got my compression gauge still in the package. I'm going to use it tomorrow when i put in some new ngk v-groove plugs to replace my god-knows-how-old plugs.

Fix your sig. It's gigantic and full of useless "future mods"
