Hey guys, I just installed a Cold Air Intake onto my car. No problem installing it. I got one of the 50 dollar ebay ones. Now whenever I press the accelorator theres a short wizzing sound. Is that normal?

And two, I need to buy a K&N filter. But the ones ive looked at, at pepboys dont have the plastic part that connects the pipe to the filter. The part that the metal tighting thing goes around to secure the pipe. they dont have those. they just have a metal circle. how do i attatch the pipe to one of those filters or am i looking at the wrong filter. basically can someome send me a link of the K&N Filter I need for my intake. Thanks

The whizzing could either be a leak in the exhaust, hole in the piping, or simply the way the intake was designed. As far as the actual element goes, I would go to the rice section at Pep Boys/Autozone/Advance and get the APC, pretty nice quality and the have colors! (silver is the best imo). Hope that helped.
