i started using nitrous last month and everything seems cool and all but this week i've been getting oil leaks. I've never had bad leaks before, but now it accumulates on the ground. It's all over the back of the engine/transmission/and it burns off the exhaust. What could this be? my car has 88k miles on it btw.

i also noticed bubbles on the dipstick when i pulled it out to check it, dont know if that matters

Yep, bubbles on the dipstick and loss of coolant usually means that you popped a head gasket. If you have to pay someone to replace it, it isn't gonna be cheap. You should expect to pay somewhere around $600 to have someone fix it. You should check your compression as well to see if the seal around the cylinders is still in tact. If you get under the car and look at the firewall side of the block with a good light, you should be able to trace the source of the leak. If it leads right up to the head and your valve cover is sealed well, then you know for sure.

Yes sir that's your HG. You can do the work yourself though. If you can turn wrenches, and read a book, then you can do it in 1-2 weekends. It's not Hard per say just scary if it's your first time opening up a motor. Don't get me wrong, it is a BIT$H to do but it is not hard. Don't forget to get the MLS HG from the dealer, call bob kise for it. Also go ahead and do the test for compression, and diagnose to be sure it's the HG but I bet $20 that's your issue.

Sounds like a headgasket to me! It's not that bad to do it yourself. I just did mine (and then some) and you just gotta be patient. Satan wanted $1000 to do mine. It's a <70 part. So...

i seriously want to cry i can't handle 1000 bucks. It's leaking alot now, should i quit driving it? it smokes a little where it drips on the exhaust i dont know, am i fucked or is this not that big of a deal?

I am living proof that you can drive with a blown HG, however, I would not go sprinting down the track in it. Certainly not spraying anytime soon. I suggest driving it to Satan to pick up the gasket (don't buy generics) and then (like mentioned above) become the DSM mechanic.

As I said, when I rebuilt my engine, I didn't replace the headgasket....gra.... DO"NT DO THAT GUYS. I regret now....

Ok, I just ordered and got my Headgasket yesterday from Autozone.
And I don't know if it's Generic or not, butI got it for $40 and it says MLS on the outside.

Is there anydifference in them?
Should I just return it, and go get the headgasket from Mitsubishi?
