Im preparing to install my cat back exaust and i dont know what the little line "sensor" is that runs into the exaust behind the cat?? i think its some sensor but im not sure so if any of you guys could help me out on this i need some advice. . . or if ne one has instructions on how to install a cat it would help thanx :thumbsup

That is your rear o2 sensor, I beleive that is what you are talking about. There is a way to eliminate it, I think you have to put a resistor in line with the wire harness, not sure the procedure but I know it can be done.

Go to a local auto supply shop and get an "02 socket". The socket should be able to get your 02 sensor out of the factory catback.
EDIT: Be sure to put some anti seize on the threads, before you install it on your new catback.

You can use an O2 socket, maybe, because of the opening it sometimes widens and slides around, if the sensor is really rusted in there.
Hit it with some rust buster, ,and I've used a 22mm socket. Worken on all except the one Steve (ERT) weklded a socket to for us to get free.

15.9 @ 86.7mph
