54577, Header/Downpipe problem Posted by LikeNoOther, Jul-04-03 10:17 AM Well i finally got my header off so i can put my nice new polished one on. Its all good, but see my new header also came with a downpipe. Well I am trying to get the 2 bolts off the old downpipe. You know the 2 bolts that are right after that flexpipe snake skin lookin thing, (cant think of the name) well those two bolts are rusted and rounded out. How am i going to get these off? Heat? Jigsaw? someone help me! Im really Pissed off! x( | |

54657, RE: Header/Downpipe problem Posted by JWoodley, Jul-05-03 08:15 PM a dremel with a cutting tool would be the best bet since you dont have much room to work with. u could probably reshape the head to a smaller size then try to get it out. btw, liquid wrench is a god send when working with rusted bolts. | |
