54485, Why does my car die when i depress the clutch??? Posted by BuckNutty, Jul-03-03 09:57 AM
I will be driving along and have to stop, next thing i know the car stalls after i depress the clutch. I have a new 02 sensor going in (upstream), i am also replacing teh timing belt and every other thing that is attatched to it soon. I can start teh car right back up as soon as it stalls. It doesn't always stall though, sometimes rthe rpm's will jus fall like whoa n whatnot and the car will want to die, but it hangs in there.

IAC motor, plunger, or vacuum lines. Clean the TB, check the IAC, and push the plunger in a bit. -=B-=

this plunger? is this in the IAC, the tip and the sleeve section. screwing it in raises idle and unscrewing lowers idle? is this what everyone is talkng about, or is there something i don't know about.
