i noticed this the other day after my day at the races in denver. When i run my engine for a long period of time and under some load. I stop and get out of my car and hear a hissing sound and a faint smell of gas vapor from under the icar. The sound and smell seams to be coming from the fuel tank area. I have noticed that what helps ease the noise and smell is if i undo the gas cap and let out the vapor pressure. Does any one ever had this problem or where should i start looking for the problem. Did a seal get screwed up or did something come loose. Any input would be helpful.

I'd check your fuel lines and connections for leaks.
