how much does this whole procedure cost including installation? cuz my ass couldnt do it. any cons to this setup? should i save up for this or save up for the stage 3 turbo upgrade?

It will cost a lot of shop time, if you can find somebody willing to do it, because there is a bit of custom fabrication to do. But $5k sounds high... Should be under $2k for a fully built motor, I can't see $3k worth of labor and custom parts.

what do you think would be better the 2.4 set up or stage 3 from hahn when it comes out with internals of course? if your price is right than i can consider it. buts whats this i hear about hood clearance, whats going to pop out from a 2.4 upgrade?

It's not an easy swap, or plug and pay. Things will have to be custom made, wiring redone.
If the mount is made right you actually have to tilt the engine on a down angle towards the passenger side, unless you get a different hood with more clearance.
I'm interested in the 2.4L swap, but a stage 3 is easier.
