I know it's something with the EGR solonoid. How did you guys fix the problem? And no I don't have the EGR block off mod.

I don't know that anyone has killed it for good. Mine still comes every now and then.

so how did you make it go away? I'm planning to go to E-town on the 5th, but don't want to see CEL. Takes away asurance.

Well the only way to get rid of it is to fix the problem. So you can clean out your EGR to get rid of the light. The code means there is not enough flow through the system, so the only way to ditch the code is to clean it, or you could clear the code with a datalogger and it might not come back for a while.

yeah i just clear the CEL.... it comes on every few months... frankly, its fuckin annoying but its not worth putting effort into.
