My o2 sensor has a square adapter and Autozone only had the universal one. I asked to see the eagle talon o2 and it had a round adapter. Finnally I asked to see the 96 dodge avenger o2 and it the connector looks identical to mine. Anyone else used one? It was cheaper then the universal and looks like it should fit ok. TIA!

yup what he said. I know because i have one on my car. THe only difference is the wires arnt long enough.

If it's the O2 sensor from the 420A why would the wire be shorter? The V-6 could have a different configuration, but why would the one for the I4 be different?

hey wait... my new O2 just came from Bob Kise and it's got a square adapter....

my car's a 95 but it's a talon....so do i really need a round one or a square one? damn...i'm confused.

I'm assuming that i have the correct one since you said yours has a square adapter and we have the same engine. I should just go check my car...:+

Yeah, it was strange, I asked for a 96 Eclipse o2 sensor and they gave me a universal one. I had him look up the talon o2 and it was a round plug. Finnally I had him look up the Avenger o2 and it's a perfect fit. It didn't look long enough, but it was. More people should just order the avenger o2, saves the trouble of splicing the wires.
