I have had this problem earlier but now its starting to annoy me. My car wont start on hot day or after I have drove it hard. The spark is good and the car turns but it feels like there is no fuel anyone else ever had this problem? The engien turns but I dont get it started.

change vaccuum hoses (especially on the fuel pressure regulator, some times they leak and this will be your problem, if it seems like you have no fuel

or try either blocking off the egr valve, or try to clean it real well

or really clean the throttle body

aight throttle body i know but where is the egr valve? and which vacuum hoses shoudl I check? Thanks again for you replies guys!

What year and tranny? If you have the 95 ESi with 5 speed, there was a recall to REPLACE the Fuel Pressure Regulator (completely different looking one) and cap off the air bypass and reprogam the ECU. My car and my son's car both did the same as yours. We both replaced the FPR and that fixed it. When the recall came out later (after we fixed ours) we had them do it again (and kept the old/new FPR's we put on). Check and see if yours needs the recall. (One way to check this is, when it won't start, take a rag and a small screwdriver - take the fuel rail schrader valve cap off - touch the scrader valve with the screwdriver tip,after you cover it with the rag to prevent fuel from spraying out - and let the pressure release. Put the cap back on and try to start it then.) The problem is TOO MUCH PRESSURE.
