Hey guys, how hard would it be for me to put a gst muffler on my 95 GS eclipse. Could I do it myself without welding? And would the muffler have to be from the same year, or could it be from 95-99?

If you have a set of socket wrenches you can do it in about 15 to 20 minutes :) . All you have to do is disconnect the stock one from the flange just behind the axle and bolt the GST muffler on. There should be a writeup on doing it on the main page. :thumbsup

nope the gsx has different plumbing underneath because of the all wheel drive setup.

Oh, ok. Well, im getting different responces from different sites. All I want to do is replace JUST the muffler on my 95 GS. Exactly what years and turbo models can I take the mufflers from that will mount properly without welding?

Any GST model eclipse from 1995-1999. No GSX, NO turbo AWD talon... Maybe a FWD Turbo talon(95-99). I am unsure about that one. Most likely.

Talon Tsi Muffler should work. BTW talons are only 95-98:P

For some reason, I'm thinking that the spyder GS-T is different too......wouldn't know why though.
