First the results ... I have absolutely no clue what this means ... I knew they were supposed to be lower but ... well you be the judge.

C1 - 140psi
C2 - 170psi
C3 - 140psi
C4 - ???psi

First off the reason I couldn't get C4 is because I couldn't get the bloody spark plug out. I didn't put too much force into it because I didn't want to break it but damn. Now the other disturbing thing ... the varying cylinder compression. I dunno ... I just have a feeling that I'm gonna have to set a side a weekend to pull the head.

Thanks for doing that for me Thura.

Hmm... yeah cold or warm? I of course at the moment can only get cold, and at like 120 I have you beat. I about ready to pull the head and throw the stock back on after getting it milled.

I guess you could say it was cold. The car sat for a little over an hour after I got back from work before I ran the compression test.

So anyone got ideas on how to remove that one rogue spark plug?

you could probably put an impact on a low pressure setting and slowly take it out..

or just grab a breaker bar and hope for the best..

Hey Dave, thanks for the reply.

Do you think spraying some wd-40 into the spark plug well would help loosen it up? Impact on low setting just sounds dangerous. I hope I can get it out.

I would just get a good turn on a ratchet, put some muscle into it, break it free. I wouldn't take the impact to aluminum, even at a low setting... I'm paranoid.

I would get a wrench and give it some slight taps, almost like an impact wrench. Not to hard just right, ya know :) Good luck on the copmression test.
