Is SAFC universal or do you have to buy it for certain car. This guy on honda crx is getting rid of his and selling it for 50 dollars. Is that a good deal its APEX-i safc.

i dont think they are for specific cars. i just ordered mine from a guy in japan, and it didnt say anything about what car it was for. i think you do a setting on it for number of cylinders and lters or sumit. i dunno, i havent gotten mine yet.:)

it changes the map sensor voltage output? i think. so you can lean/richen out the a/f ratio or sumit. i think there is more shit, but im not totally sure. i think it can advance timing also?. heh, some one explain better, cause i need to know also. im sticking this on my non turbo for the moment car.

An SAFC Modifies the MAP sensor voltage to trick your computer into adding or subtracting fuel to the mixture.

Yes SAFC's are universal. How they hook up is not; you can get the wiring diagram on the mods section of 2gnt.

Yes, it has now been proven that an SAFC WILL advance your timing (how much is still being debated, I think it depends on how much you are leaning out)

Buy the SAFC for 50 dollars IMO.

I payed like 275 for mine, and it's a gen 1 model.
