hello, first i'd like to say that this board kicks ass, for the 5 or so months that i've been on this board there has been so much information transferred that it is amazing, and everyone is so helpfull, i've noticed also, maybe i'm trippin, but most people on the board, and DSM'ers in general are more mid east and east coast people. why is that?
okay my real question
i got a S-afc
i am going turbo
i was wondering if anyone can explain injectors and the parameters that our cars need with respect to the S-afc. For example, what injectors can i directly drop into my stock fuel rail and control with the Safc and run lower fuel pressure when i go turbo, also what's the deal with impedence and duty cycle. also if i have the afc and i buy larger injectors before i go turbo will the afc be able to trim the fuel delivery so i can use the larger injectors with no problems. and one last thing the Apexi ITC will it work on our cars seeing that we have a direct crank trigger for our ignition, thanks for the info!!!!

There are a few different choices availible from RC engineering. The biggest I think you can run with S-AFC and stock ECI is 440's but I am not to sure because I still have stock Fuel setup.

...With out any problems we can use 440ccs on our engines. Our very own PCM will compensate for 310cc's. You can also go as high as 550ccs will some strange idling. Or you can rid that problem with the other fuel controller out which is the S-AFR(which is actually superior when it comes to fuel control) but it has none of the other little options the AFC has(including a magical looking blue screen I love to show off to my friends:)) The SAFR will allow us to run the 550cc's and lower fuel pressure. The bigger the injector the lower the pressure (in most cases)

do you guys know the part numbers for any injectors say from RC, i was also wondering if i do get the 440's or 450's will the afc be able to trim enough to have the car not run rich, one last thing, what type of injectors are ours, are they saturated or peak and hold? thanks for the info

What size injectors can run with our stock computer no AFC-R or fuel control item or do you to run have some type of fuel control device when you get bigger injectors....

has anyone bought 440's from RC? are injectors all basically the same externally? i mean either side feed or top feed i want to get some today, but i do not know which ones will work i was thinking of buying some from RC, but i have no part numbers or anything hope if i call them and tell them which car i have do you think they will know which injectors go in our cars? thanks for te info

Just call them and they will know what kind of injectors you need for your car.

I ran 270cc's from RC and it was already way rich on a non turbo engine. Hell even on a turbo engine, 270cc's were rich for a low psi setup with HRC fuel system setup...
