if you dont have emissions, just get a test pipe. slacker911 has a direct bolt on, and its nice! comes with new bolts and gaskets...

I have an Ebay one...

couldn't tell you exactly what the power gain/sound change was because I put a glasspack in there and replaced the stock piping at the same time. But I'm not complaining...

id suggest not getting one unless you go turbo. it really kills low end torque (REALLY BAD!) and you dont gain that much in the top end. i just swapped ryan hester my hi flow for a stock cat and i love the power i got back. i say save the money cuz you wont benefit from it....our cars need some good backpressure.

:wary I loved my high flow when it went on, I didn't feel any loss.

pace setter makes one for about 125$ u can get it at jcwhitney.. direct bolt on...but it takes a while to ship seeing that it comes from pacesetter.. and is made per order..

ok, after my seziure is over from that sig, i can say that i had a hi-flo cat from ebay, thing lined up good, but the mounts were way off, but i was able to stick one bolt in that to hold it.

unfortunately there is emissions in new york. its not as bad as cali but no cat and you will fail

Catco makes a direct fit, or at least i remember them asking if i wanted the replacement. I ordered a 2.5" in and out though. Mine was $70 shipped from Summit....i think it was them. I figure if big HP muscle cars can use them.....so can my lil 4 cylinder.

ok thanx but mine is really cloged and smells bad. So i have to get 1 The catco sounds good sense there emissoins friendly and mass has to pass emissions. How ever i check there summit's site and the dont list a direct fit to the eclipse. What if i just put a resonator in there in stead. How much lounder would it be.

I got a purple hornie muffler from howells (for the neons) and replaced my cat with it. my car is quieter now, and ALL of the cab resonance is gone. I love this thing.

btw it doesn't feel like I have lost any low end with this. it feels like there is more.
