I have a really weak spark coming out of my ignition, I guess meaning my ignition coil is almost dead. I have a '95 Eclipse GS, what should I replace it with? I'm looking for a place to get one for cheap online. I don't want to have to get one from the dealer... Id'e rather get a MSD or another brand name coil to replace it.
What should I do?

Howell also has the SCreamin' Deamon Coil Pack. An upgrade as far as spark intensity, where the MSD is same as stock (but better quality IMO).

i've got the "screamin' demon" coil pack. i got it along with the crane 8.5mm fireball wires. i like them both. the "screamin' demon" is cheaper than the MSD too, and it's not bling and red like the MSD is.

Where can I get a screamin' demon" coil pack? And how much will it run me? Does it just bolt on to replace the stock coil?

I believe the screamin deamon has the flat pin style..He could use it, but he would have splice some wires, and find another connector that comes off a 97-99. I have the screamin deamon also, and works good.

Yea, I just ended up gettin the MSD coil, so it would fit correctly.

How did it work out for you? Happy with it?

i got the MSD one a few weeks ago, i love it. also some 8.5mm magnecors. it feels like more power, also got rid of stutter, but then again, the stock coilpack had 160 thousand miles on it!!!

i have a studdering 95 rs, you think i should replace the coil pack with the msd to clear it up?


SCREW IT! I just purchased the MSD. I'm so sick of this hesitation, the coil pack is like the last thing that I haven't replaced to fix the problem. Hell i got 116,000 miles on my car with the original coil pack.
