Who??

I called TRE Transmission ( A while ago, in my noobness stage), and asked him, he said no. BM tranny says no. I DID tell TRE in an email once that he SHOULD make trannies for us, and he sounded really interested once I told him about the 420A following, but I never replied after that. So if I want a stronger transmission than stock, how do I go about that? thanks.:o

no one makes an aftermarket trann for us. The stock 5 spd isnt all that weak though.

Quaife makes a nice 6 speed sequential...

Other then that, I would recommend another of New Venture Gear's fantastic product line, a 2002 base Neon transmission, for example.

How about rebuilding our trannies? Anyone do that? Is it worth it?
I think I have to rebuild mine soon...:-(

Just take out tranny... Take it too a transmission shop and have them swap out the gears... I did it on an old monte carlo for around 500 plus labor. Big help for that peice of crap SS.

Well, the really high HP neons will use the 3 speed automatic, as it is a really strong transmission. It also operates without computer control. Not too good for the street, though.
