well i have been driving my avenger around without Power Steering for like 2 weeks. I replaced the belt, riped off, replaced it agian riped off, after further looking into my problem i found out that my tensioner had a very tiny bit of play in it from side to side allowing the belt to slip. so i went to satan and ordered a new one(its a dealer only part) and it coast me like120 bucks but it came in today. i picked it up and installed it(it was pretty easy) and bam problem fixed the belts on and its not coming off. drove around for a while and its perfect. so if anyone has a problem with shreading belts look to the tensiner if you cant find your problem
