In the short future I am gonna be doing a Headgasket/Timing Belt job with plenty other stuff. I have a few more items to buy, including gasket kit, head studs, and header bolts\studs?
What does u guys reccomend on head studs?? Are Felpro studs any good?? I dont plan on running any boost and no bigger than a 75shot of nitrous.
What is the correct size for the header bolts?? Does the header use bolts or studs or a combo of the two?? Any tips on getting these off?
I have a metal exhaust gasket, should I use that or the Mopar exhaust gasket that comes in the MLS gasket kit??
I plan on installing all of this: -MLS Gasket kit -ported head w\crane valve springs, milled (.02-.04 not sure yet) -T-belt, tensioner, pulleys, water pump -ES motor mount inserts -corbin phenolic manifold spacer -new ground wire\strap for the alternator -new PS\AC & alternator belts -AEM cam gears -OBX header

the headgasket set should come with the same metal exaust gasket, if it doesn't you probably got a neon head gasket kit.

the stock metal exhaust mani gasket is pretty tough...i just cleaned it off with some break cleaner and made sure it was still in working order and resused it.

I bought the Felpro head bolt set from Autozone for $23. I got em today and they look EXACTLY like the stock head bolts... right down to the little symbol on the top of the bolt.
