5242, rattling sound? Posted by daved, Jul-16-01 08:22 AM
I have a rattling sound coming from the passenger side of my engine, does anybody know what is wrong and how do I fix it. Also I can't get my belts to stop squeaking how do I tighten them myself so I don't have to drive to the dealership which takes an hour with the fuckin traffic in this city.

which belts are squeaking? have you had yourtiming belt replaced recently? does it do it only when the motor is cold?
as a test, spray belt dressing on it and if it stops, you've found the problem and solution. __________________________ ...just my $.02 95 GS

Ya it looks good (after a shit load of money to paint the thing), but the problem is its made out of fiberglass and i have skunk2 coilovers, of course i have them set as low as they can go (i have a little problem with goin 100+ at times so i kinda need that lower center of gravity) I know i should rase it cause it a bitch to drive and everybody behind me gets pissed when i pull into a parking lot but it looks bad as shit droped that low. Havent cracked it yet but i baby the shit out of the thing so if u decide to install one becareful if u have lowering springs, that goes for any bodykit you buy though.
