has anybody out there ported their own throttle body?
if so, did you make a new throttle plate and just widen the pin?

I did mine with a dremel tool. I didn't change the butterfly valve, I just made the inside bigger because I gets smaller and then bigger on the inside.

did you have any gap between the edge of the throttle plate the the inner diameter of the TB?? if so, did it still idle okay?? __________________________ ...just my $.02 95 GS

Yeah I sent off to Howell for $100 well spent in my opinion. They had it done quickly as well.
