Anybody know offhand what the thread and pitch of the valve cover bolts is? 7mm x 1.25? It's the same as all the other smaller bolts, like the ones that holt the stock air box on and hold the cam sensor in, etc.

I need a helicoil kit, the head I got has a couple of the valve cover thread stripped, too badly to chase with a tap. I can call around if anybody knows.

let me got check, you mean the ones that have the little round seals on them right?

i couldn't find my guage but they are ? x 1.0, looks like 5 or 6 though.

they have the little sizing plugs(not sure what they are really called) at autozone and pepboys.

Thanks, I can check it against my tap and die set. I was just hoping to pick one up on my way home or at lunch, if anybody knew.
