If I'm not mistaken, it's on the firewall in behind the battery, but a bit lower. You'll have to remove the battery, and check underneath the brake fluid cannister, and the windsheild washer fluid resevoir on the firewall. Hope this helps.

Yup its black.
what's the sign of it?? well just take it off and look in there.. I bet you'd not want to put it back on your car after looking at it. :)

btw I think You are suppose to change it every 30k miles or something like that.

you'll have to remove the battery and the widow wash resivoir I think. I had all that stuff out today for the rear motor mount insert, so it's pretty easy at this point.

LAST EDITED ON 16-Jul-01 AT 03:20 AM (PST)

Remove the Strut bar (if equiped),Intake tube from throttle body,Battery, windshield washer resevoir bottle(disconnect BOTH elec fitting before removing),and take the bolts out of the Brake Fluid resevoir(remove elec connection) so you can swing it out of the way(not needed to remove hose, just move the resv.). SOAK down the fittings with penetration oil and go to work. Not hard, just time consuming. BEST to use FLARE WRENCHES when working on it.

GOOD LUCK

did mine yesterday on my lunch break. you don't need to pull the strutbar or the air intake, just the battery, window wash resivoir and brake resivoir. I pulled my fuel pump fuse and started the car get as much fuel out of the line that I could, but I still got a bit of a spill. when you pull the top hose out, just elevate it and it won't leak. for the top hose, you will need a 3/4 endwrench and a 3/4" wratchet(1/2" drive), for the bottem hose, you need a 14mm and a 3/4" endwrench. drench them in wd-40 before you break em loose, and be sure to use the new copper rings on the upper hose.
