51950, Arospeed front mount intake Posted by chuckyd, May-27-03 09:33 AM
Does anyone know anything about the arospeed front mount intake system? I was debating between buying one of those and an AEM CAI V2. I had heard from some friends that the arospeeds work well, but I wondered if anyone had tried both or heard about both. I have a 96 Talon ESi if that helps. Thanks.

do they even make a fm intake for a 2gnt? if they do i still wouldnt get it cause if it rains you could have a problem.

Go with the AEM V2 CAI. I've got one and it completely outperforms the regular AEM CAI my 99 GS had. Noticeable increase in power...
Last I checked AEM is behind in production so you may have to wait a couple of weeks for delivery. But it's well worth the wait.
As for the Aerospeed front mount deal, aside from the rain, the big problem is the beating from road debris the thing would take , as a daily driver, that will eventually compromise the filter.
I looked into one myself and it was a little suspect to me.
