sup men, i'm doing a little rebuild and i need the torque specs on the driveplate/flex plate...what the clutch attaches to..it has 8 bolts that bolt it to the crank and i cant find it in the mitsu book or my chilton manual..onlythe specs for the clutch to attach to it..anyone able to help out?..if i cant find it i guess i'll go w/ about 110 ft lbs, the crank pulley bolt is at 105 so its gotta be close to that--thanks for the assistance

No no no. It's not that high at all. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I want to say it was around 50 ish ft/lbs. DO NOT QUOTE ME THOUGH. I know it was not anything that high though cause my TQ wrench only goes to 85 or 90 and we didn't have the wrench maxed out.

yeh I just did mine recently I remember it was around 55 or 70 so go to liek 60 I guess. Haha just tighten the flywheel bolts as tight as you can because there's no way you can torque those with a normal torque wrench. :P

My overhaul manual says 55 ft lbs. I know I used some Red Loctite on those and all clutch bolts too..

thanks..i already have them torqued to 76 ft lbs so i 'll leave them there..i will do the loctite too...what manual do you have? i have the chiltens and the factory mitsu one, plus the dsm cd and i couldnt find it...maybe i was looking at the wrong thing...like i never would have know the camshaft sprockets were the cam gears unless i would have looked in the manual...i'll do 76 and call it a day

i couldn't find the tq. specs either all i could find in mine was the clutch assembly to flex plate. i have the same manuals you do.
