513, Tapping into O2 Sensor wire??? Posted by Nitrous_RS1997, Apr-12-01 12:31 PM
Im going to install my Autometer A/F gauge tomorrow. to splice into the O2 wire(the white one with a black stripe right?) will one of those plastic crimps you can get at most suto stores to join two wires together work? what has everyone else used? i figured this would be better than taking some of the plastic cover off the o2 wire to get to it. thanks for any help guys.

Yeah its the white wire with black stripe all yrs. I used one of those plastic connectors that doesn't require cutting the PCM wire just slicing/exposing the wire. I still grabbed the wire from underneath the plastic covering but I was still able to close it back up for the most part with the connector under there.
