Can you describe it a little better? Making any unusual sounds? If you think its your CVs, go out in a big parking lot. lean your head out the window and turn to the left real sharp and listen for any clicking or popping. Check your front tires, got weights on em? I threw my weights racing (I think atleast) and my car started vibrating like a quarter machine bed. Got em rotated and balanced, went away. If its a real bad vibration might not be above said. get a flash light though and check your mounts, could be that too. Is it above a certain speed? above a certain engine speed?

EDIT: Oh yea. Check to make sure your spark plugs are "seating" right. I jsut noticed you siad "under acceleration". Mine did that too. Would bog down and start vibrating. This is my theory(prolly wrong) - the crank starts a gyro effect and any interference with it magnifies into the body of the car causing a real bad vibration. So check to make sure you arnt missing on any cylinders. The best way ive fuond to do that is to just start the car and push on each plug wire. you'll feel if its missing and arching to the spark plug well walls. It'll tap "into" your finger.

sorry so long :) just trying to help.

Check the inner boot of the drive axel. Mine would vibrate really bad under acceleration but as soon as you let off the vibration would stop. The inner boot was ripped.

that sounds about right, i'm going to have the whole car torn apart wednesday night anyway, i guess i'll try to get into detail. My CV joints do pop when turning, they do need replaced but i am busy upgrading car right now (hehe). My whole suspension setup sucks ass, my tires rub, shit makes weird noises.
However, it's not necessarily under boost or at any certain rpm, the steering wheel i can feel it the most. kind of wiggles the wheel. I don't think it's a misfire. Can't prove it to you but i don't think it is. no real performance degradation.

Just dont do what some other people on this board have done. Upgrade the car while essential pieces go to shit and then when something really bad happens they get all pissy. When all they had to do was buy an axle to replace, or a gasket or two.

awesome:) Good to see your being proactive and not reactive to your car problems!!!

Being reactive will get ya where ive been for two months - without a car:(

If it's just the steering wheel, you need an alignment or your tires need to be computer balanced. Have you recently replaced rims or tires?
