I have a serious problem with my car. I keep breaking my rear motor mount. The part that is breaking is the piece that bolts down onto the trainy. I have broken the same piece 3 times within about 2 months. What could be causing this? I have the motor mount inserts in and they are seated correctly. I can't seem to figure this out. It is costing me a fortune. Is there a aftermarket version of this that is stronger? Also I keep getting a whistling sound from the engine while I am driving. Kind of sounds like a bov but I'm not turbo obviously. Any ideas? Finally, sometimes when I start my car it will idal very ruff and then stall if I don't give it gas. Can't seem to figure that out either. If you guys can help me out with any of these probs especially the mount I would really appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

be nicer to the car? lift it....get someone to go through the gears while someone watches, and see if the car is rocking really hard, maybe nother mount is broken, causing more stress on that one

checked all other mounts and all seem to be fine.

do you have a pic of the broken piece? it would be easier to figure it out with a pic.

I'll try to get a pic but could a bad Wheel Hub and axle shaft on the passenger side cause this? I think those might need replaced. Not sure.
