Anybody have a write up on this? Any idea what size belt is needed with the AC comp off?

You dont keep the belt on there if there isnt a a/c compressor on there...kinda pointless...in terms of taking it off those bolts are torqued way tight i highly recommend air tools for it...it took me forever to get mine off...now since your taking your a.c out you might as well take the fan off too no reason to have it there when its not being used


Performance: Stuff that makes my car run better or go faster

Looks: Stock because looks doesnt make my car go faster or run better

Weight Reduction: CF Hood, No A/C or Powersteering Accessories, No rear interior

Dinkjs-- he said removing A/C not removing A/C and P/S so infact he does need a belt... He was asking what size he needs to run from damper to P/S, im sure.

In fact I need to know this too since I have removed my A/C as well. So if you figure it out post it or Ill figure it out and ill post it... I was thinking of taking a string wraping it around and measuring it and take it in to like autozone telling them you need a belt this length and having them find you one.

just use string to measure what size belt you'll need, and KEEP the fan, just wire the two fans together and get some added cooling... This is all stuff that once you get into it, you'll get done quickly. On the belt, just remember that the ps pump has an adjustment and account for that when measuring for the belt.

Its gettign close to summer and you wnat your AC removed? I live in FL and its close to 95 degrees out today, i will keep my AC thank you very much!!:)

the belt you need is in the neighborhood of 40 inches (cant remeber exactly though). autozone was really cool about letting me take a few belts out to test fit them on the car, perhaps theyd let you do the same?
