50542, Ebay Catalytic Converters?????? Posted by BigBald, May-06-03 04:08 AM
HAs anyone actually passed emission with them? I got a fix it ticket for my exhaust system and i am running a test pipe. So before i go to DMV, I plan on buying a CAT. MY question is, are these worth it? I know they come with the flanges already on which is good but if they are going to fail then there is now use in buying one. MY other question is are they Emissions legal?

Yes they do work. Not if you are running obscenely rich or something like that. Buit if a regular cat would clean it up, then the high flow cat should do the trick.

I am not running rich. I just want to be able to pass emissions and also ward off DMV about not having a CAT. Does anyone have the Bomz hi flow cat?

I have one. Works fine as far as I'm concerned though I'm not sure how much of a cat it is since i haven't tried to pass emissions in a while. Though its a 2.5" instead of our regular 2.25".
