I have had my engine rebuilt with the 10.5 pistons. nitrous grind cams, cam gears, major head work with 2mm oversized valves, with all the bolt ons. the intake cam is advanced 2 degrees and the exhaust is retarded one. I have an air fuel controller and guage which is not hooked up yet. at lower rpms the engine will misfire on occasion and loss of power. i also have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and guage. the fuel pressure is at 57 lbs right now. where is a good place to start tunning. If anyone has some info that would be much appreciated. what is a good cam degree combination for good low and mid range power. along with what you guys might thing the right fuel pressure is. the engine is running rich right now. i will know more on that tommorow when i get the rest of the electroics hooked up. if you guys have some info for me that would be much appreciated.

so what are the details on your fuel system? you're normally asperiated with nitrous? 57 psi is pretty high if you're still using stock injectors. idle with stock injectors, if i remember correctly was around 44 psi, static was about 55-60. i think. with those high compression pistons i bet you'll want slightly higher fuel pressures because your brake specific thingy is different than people with stock compression pistons.

on the fuel system i have a venom fuel rail and an AEM universal fuel pressure regulator. so around idle would around 48 psi for fuel sound abour right with the higher compression pistons. i jsut dont know waht to do for sure because of all of the extra air the engine is getting in because of the head work adn the bigger valves. i will turn down the fuel pressure and see how taht works. i am going to install the afc and the digital air/fuel guage tonight so i will know more about that. thanx for the info. if you have any more let me know.

yup they do. you have to get an aftermarket regulator for it to work though. and an injector O-ring for the fuel line toe replace the stock one because the inner diamter is a little bigger. dont know if that is the best way to fix it but it works.
