i have to rebuild and i figure since i'm taking it all apart i may as well do something to it. so..

will getting cams designed for turbo motors hurt performance over stock cams?

nope, the "turbo grind" cams should still give more performance than stock cams. I'm assuming you are looking at cams like the crane #14s? If you do, and you look at the specifications, you will see they should not adversely affect NA performance, as the stock cams are less agressive and they work when the car is NA :)

yeah that's what i was looking at. i have to build the bottom end so i was going to go high compression there than get a slightly aggressive cam because i wanted to boost on the high compression bottom end. nothing to major. 7-10 psi tops pending on how it likes the boost.
