If someone could help me out i would really appreciate it. Im good with tools and ive torn my motor apart twice. I just need some instruction before i begin. Thanks

Take off the oil pan(drain oil of course), and then you have access to the rods/bearings. Take off the rod bearing cap, being careful not to nick or scratch the crank journal, and one half of the bearing is in the rod cap. Then turn the crank enough to get the upper half of the bearing out of the rod end. Be sure to take note of the notches on the bearing caps, and the rod, to help install the new ones correctly.ROD CAPS ARE DIRECTIONAL!! They only go on ONE WAY! Mark the bearing cap and the rod to make sure it goes on the same way(mark accross where the rod cap splits from the rod) The bearings are tabbed, so its difficult to mess it up. Then using a good torque wrench, torque the rod cap onto the rod using the proper torque spec( 20 ft lbs, + 1/4 turn) Be sure to oil the new bearings faces, and the crank journal before assembly. Check the crank journal too for any scratches, or scuffing, ect..
