i searched for the post that talked about it before but it wasnt very infomative... so, is there anybody that just straight up took off all traces of the egr valve? or do most people leave everything connected and block off the hole on the block? and what are other emission controle devices that might need to come off? thanks

Uhm...lots of people have taken it off....get the egr removal kit from MOPAR and take the shit out. You will get a CEL, and it is annoying.

Get or make blockoff plates and install them. The only thing you take out it the egr tube from the block to the intake mani. Leave the silinoid and valve connected and keep the vac line on the sil and you wont get a cel.

You will still get a no flow cell every once and a while. Code 32 I believe. Havent checked the number for it but I know what it is for when it pops up on mine. Just take the tube out, block off the opening on the intake mani, then put the blockoff plate inbetween the selenoid and the head.
