okay here it is remove the black throttle cable cam. going from the center of the existing hole, towards the round side of the cam, move 1/4 inch and drill 2 new holes. this works, my TPS voltages are now .71 closed and 3.91 open, since I am nice, I will do this for people in so.cal for 1 dollar if they come over to my house.

you can either do that or you can dremmal out the center groove on the cam that the cable rides in. by removing material in the cam groove you give the cable less surface area to pull across, thereby getting more cam rotation with the same cable travel. make sure you are consistant with your material removal and get it wide enough as not to pinch up on the cable. :thumbsup

yeah pics would be huge...do you think low TPS voltage is the cause of my CEL?

ACK.... you beat me to it. I had done some measurements comparing the stock TB to the MP one and found that I could drill out the holes in the cam and get more plate movement. How did you come up with 1/4 inch? Could you please post some pictures, cause I was only going to move the cam 1/8 of an inch towards the pivot point. I will say though that I have found so much slack in our throttle cable and fixed it while searching for a way to get these TB open all the way. Before I though my cable was tight and responsive, now that I have REALLY adjusted everything, nobody can drive my car but me. My wife gets in my car to push the gas peddle while I was checking the EGR crap, and she only taps it...... vroom rpms goto 4000+.
Goodwork....

Everybody loves pics! Mine has opened all the way since I put it on. My problem was after driving for awhile it didn't have enough pressure on the spring to close all the way. Thats why I added a spring.

i'll take a picture this weekend, i don't know why people are having such problems with these TB's. the only slight problem i had was the throttle plate not opening up all the way, but i just took the cam off and re drilled it. there was no drama after that it worked just fine, my throttle is not real touchy or anything, i ported the manifold to match the TB, but i couldn't get it to 60mm, more like 58 because if i was to go to 60mm i feel the wall thickness of the mani would be too thin on the side facing the front of the car. this porting made a noticable difference, i would recommend people with this TB to do the same.

James relocating the throttle cable end didn't in any way change idling? Where are you, 600 or 800 rpms?

my idle is like 800 +- 100 rpm, when the car is warm it idles like at 780-800 rpm. when you re-drill the holes it makes the throttle open a little faster due to the decreased radius from the pivot point, now when the gas pedal touches the plastic stop on the floor, the TB blade opens all the way up and hits its fully open stop. sorry about the pictures, i took them, but currently my computer's usb port is acting up so i cannot transfer them to my computer. I'll bring my camera to work and transfer it then.
