49540, Exhaust Size Question... Posted by JWoodley, Apr-21-03 04:06 PM
Apexi N1 (GS-T) 70mm-74.7mm-85mm Pipe Dia. w/silencer for 464.20 (GS) 60mm Pipe Dia. w/silencer for 442.06
Hmm, I have the following mods and I'm unsure what exhaust setup to get: AEM CAI GReddy header(dp too) BOMZ racing high flow cat *MP 60mm TB and AFX UDP before schools out!
Would I benefit more with the larger GST sized exhaust. Eventually I will be going turbo, so I dont mind the loss is low-end torque. What size in inches do the systems come in? 60mm = X inches? 70-80mm = X inches? TIA

1"=25.4mm
So 60mm = 2.362" just under 2 3/8" 70mm = a hair over 2-3/4" 74.7mm = 2.94" a touch under 3" (obviously) 84mm = 3.346" between 3-1/4" and 3-3/8" I assume the varying diameters of the GS-T exhaust are reduced flange at the cat, majority of piping size and then tip?
If you are going turbo and you don't mind the loss in the mean time of low end power than sprnig the $20 and get the GS-T exhaust.

15.9 @ 86.7mph
