I just put on my header and cat-back on this weekend and the car ran fine. then today it ran fine then the 2nd time I started it it ran like crap. There was NO power at all I could barly get it to 50. Then while I was on the hi-way it kicked in and ran just fine. Could this be caused be a bad oxygen sensor? I also tried to turn on my Venom vcn-1000 kit and it would not turn on. It checkes the Oxygen sensor before it turns on to make sure everything is ok? So when it kicked in the nitrous system turned on. So is it the oxygen sensor? Any info would help.

check the coil pack... i had a similar prob with another car... sometimes it was only firing on two cylinders (hench the loss of power) then it would kick in again and run fine. Could be the sensor tho too.. never know.

I changed the oxygen sensor. The car ran fine a 1 day, but now its even worse. I checked the coil for resistance and it checked out ok, but could this still be the problem? What else could this be? I'm not geting any codes. I also have a MSD DIS-2. Could this be the problem?

Should I just get a new coil or what?

Ok I got a new coil, and unhooked my MSD-DIS 2. and Its still ding the same thing. What could be the problem? I need help. I also got new plugs put in as well. Could it be my wires? What else can cause this?

Check your fuel pump. I am going threw a similiar situation now.

I have a fuel pressure guage and it does not move(the pressure) could my fuel pump stil be the problem.

The problem has not come back all weekend.

yeah I had a similiar problem and was talking to Dino about it earlier. Seems like my car would misfire sometimes. Only concluseion we could come up with for the moment was my car was flooded with fuel. I've been running way too rich. I'd know because after disconnecting and reconnecting my battery, my car would shoot out black smoke for a while and the engine would just shake and rumble. After about 5 minutes both times, the problem would go away.

This could be my problem. I'm getting a cel for rich fuel. How would I correct this? Should I get the SAFC thing?

Yeah i am getting a lean reading on my air/fuel gauge so I know my car is starving for fuel. And yes a SAFC can do the trick .

I think I may have found the problem. I have a fuel leak on my fuel rail. I have a fuel pressure guage mounted there and there is a leak. I'm going to fix this, but could this be it?

My fule pressure is only 37-40 psi. Some on etold me it should be 47-50. Could this be the cause of my problems?
