I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the Apexi N1 cat back exhaust and I'm just wondering about the silencer. Does it come with a silencer or do you have to buy it separately?

Also I assume with the Apexi N1 N/A exhaust the silencer I will need is the 115mm tip here... http://www.racerwheel.com/engine-exhaust--univ-muffler--apexi.html

So does it come with the silencer and if not what size do I need to buy? Also where does the silencer go and how easy is it to take on and off? I just don't want to be really loud all the time :P

im pretty sure it comes with the silencer....i believe all exhausts that have an available silencer, include it with the exhaust

The N1 does come with the silencer, and I don't know the size of my tip, but I think it's the BIGGEST DAMN TIP AVAILABLE on the market :) The silencer sucks...it quiets the car down a LITTLE and I mean a little, and your HP goes straight down the shithole!!! I used my silencer once, and I happened to be going up some hills and over a small mountain, I felt like I had no power compared to the same trip a few weeks prior with no problems.

yup the catback comes w/ the silencer. if you were to buy one've apexi's universal n1 mufflers you would need to but it separately. if there's a possibility of you going turbo or going for major performance down the line consider getting the GST version. bolts right up but gives you 3" piping instead for better flow. i dunno 'bout that site you found - never ordered from them. i like ordering from road race (www.roadraceengineering.com). they've got the same prices but they specialize in eclipses and will definately help you out if you've got questions. they know their shit. i got my catback and my brake upgrades from them.

i got an apexi dunk catback...mine didn't come with the silencer...bastards....i like my silencer at times...makes mine nice a quiet,but does kill top end power..

I just ordered my girlfriend the apexi n1 from no limit motorsports today. It is the cheapest place I found $476.64 to my door. I really don't care if it comes with a scilencer, but you could e-mail them and they will probably tell you.:thumbsup
