I imagine the diffs are the same, the only difference being the ring gear.. but don't quote me on that.

I just need to know because i got all the parts to do a manual conversion on my 99rs and i need to know if their are any differnences or if their the same.I have heard some peope say the front axles are different and others say the diffential is different. So if i do the conversion will it be fine if i leave the axles and differential alone?

The front axles are the same. The differential doesn't matter, as it is internal to both transmissions. I hope that you bought a transmission that has a differential in it. -=B-=

Look in the axle hole. See a shiny metal rod running right through it? That's the diff spider pin. No pin? No diff, or you got a Quaife... which is to say, you probably don't have a diff.

Dude. you've got a diff. Unless someone opened up the transaxle and you got diffjacked, its in there. it's not like it can fall out or anything.
