i have had a cel for like 2 days now and the car has been stalling when i come to a stop .and as i slowlly press down the gas i hear little poping noises out of the exhast.my digital air/fuel gauge was reading rich like .95-.97 at wot.i have a 1999 rst star stage 1 and have not done any other fuel mods.so i was taking the car to autozone to check the cel and as soon as i got in the parking lot it poped off.i still got it checked and there was 2 codes both the same thing it said that the system was two lean??? iam confused .now that the cel is off it dosent stall any more but it dose feel like iam losing power and dosent pull as hard ,with no cel iam still at the same on the air/fuel gauge.anyone have any ideas that could help me?

i heard from numerous people that the bosch is crap. go with the OEM one...i got mine for $83 shipped and no splicing...it comes with the connector and all the wires. im in class right now, ill get you the web site where i got mine when i get back to my room.

let your car idle and see if your cooling fans come on. if they don't then your temp sensor may be kaputz and causing you to run rich. also do you have a problem with warm starting? that is a symptom of the sensor being bad.

whoa!!! I should check my posting dates:P
