48654, I am so fet up with the noise! help! Posted by 9d9Mitsu, Apr-08-03 09:02 AM Everytime it is wet outside or even sometimes when it's not i'll start up my car and just hear a "squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak". It does this 90% of the time after it rains and will do it even sometimes when its dry out and I cant point what the hell the noise is, its coming from under the hood and there are no other symptoms but noise this has been going on for a good 8 months. Has/Does anyone have this problem or know what it is so I can fix it? TIA | |

48658, RE: I am so fet up with the noise! help! Posted by EclipseTical, Apr-08-03 09:27 AM IF it only does it for a little bit after start up it's just moisture on the belts from those rainy days. If it is a consistent screech then you may need to adjust the tensioner. Probably is nothing, my car squeeks a lil on rainy days for the first bit every now and then. Anyone else got an opinion? | |
