48496, hp gain from afx t/b Posted by dfresh, Apr-07-03 12:18 AM
i was wondering how much hp i would gain and how much i would feel with the afx t/b......also on ptunin's website it says 56mm t/b but on howell and the others it says 55??????did ptuning just mess up or what....
as far as mods go i have a cai, muffler, ngk plugs and wires.....should i expect any noticable gain from the t/b?

I had my t/b bored out by Howell (AFX), and it was definatly one of my best mods while I had it. Throttle response is definately more alive w/ it.
Thanks, Richard (TURBO'd 97 ESi) http://www.ourformerselves.com/
 BEST TRACK TIME -- 16.46 @ 86.03mph (before turbo)

I ran an AF/X TB on my SOHC 420a plymouth breeze.. felt a good difference and it sounded great with the AF/X intake i had on it.

you'll like it. back in my N/A days, it was probably the best peformance mod i did. exhaust was pretty fake. just made my car a little louder. i should have just gotten a GS-T cat-back. UDP was nice too. putting a K&N at the end of the stock intake was ok i guess, but i noticed the greatest gain from the AF/X throttle body.
