I installed it and there I connected that one tube that goes to the valve cover but further down the pipe there is a bigger tub and a heater hose that connects to WHO KNOW WHAT? I just put the cap over that opening. does it connect to something, am i messing up something. HELP.
 What I got: -Old School JVC Deck -Ebay Lexon Tweeters -Alpines Up Front -6x9 Conversion Pods from the Infinity System but Still Looking for 6x9's With < 2" depth

Sounds like you got the wrong one. Where did you get it? I remember when I ordered mine I got the wrong one in the mail.

Some cars had something that connected to there, there is nothing wrong with just capping it off.

It's where fresh air is sucked into your cat. My non-CA '95 talon had this from the factory, and when I got a flash update on my pcm the dealer capped the metal pipe from the cat off, and plugged the hole at the bottom of the factory intake. I have a CAI V1 and I just bought a 1/2" pvc cap and tapped it on w/ a hammer (lightly!).

Well I live in cali and my 2g was originaly bought in cali. Ive been driving w/ it off, can someone take a pic of what it connects to PLEASE... I am hearing a very slight whistling sound between 900-1500 rpm when I start out slow in first and when I rev down,is that a problem

no, the whistle is actually really cool! I put a breather filter over it so that I could keep the whistle and it sounds like a turbo spooling when I floor it and when i shift it blows harder and sounds like a BOV! It is actually really cool. Don't worry about it, I guaruntee you 100% you will be just fine.

Dude don't worry, u can either cap it or un-cap it. Nothing will happen! Hehe i noticed the whistle too ;)
