48247, Replacing Texaco MTX (Transmission oil) Posted by obregonmanuel, Apr-04-03 05:04 AM
The original transmission oil that the manual indicates for M/T is TEXACO MTX, I am looking for a substitute because I can not find the TEXACO, Did you hear about a replacement, any other oil?
Thanks.

Go down to Satan and ask for the manual transmission fluid for your year car with the chrylser engine. The bottle should say that it is for the NV-T350 transmission. Barring that, go to a dodge dealer and ask for the same stuff but substatue neon for eclipse. Just make sure the bottle says for NV-T350 transmissions.

Forget what the owners manual says. it's all a lie.
get ONLY factory fluid from the dealer.
