Sometimes when i shift my car from D to R or R to D and go to turn my steering wheel with normal pressure it gets stuck...i have to put more pressure than normal on it to turn it and then like i said in anothjer post...the belt will sqeak when turning the wheel. Is this just because my belt is to tight? If so...where can i find out how to loosen it?

Check power steering fluid, look under the car for leaks. I believe the 420a only uses 1 serp. belt, look on side of the engine for the belt. You should have about 1/4-1/2 inch of play at the longest distance between pullys. If the belt is old it could be dried out, just replace it. If its tool loose thier should be a bolt you turn to tighten the tentioner. I have never delt with this on my 2gnt, on my 4g63 i had to adjust it almost every week! heh good luck, the real problem could be anything from the belt to the rack & pinion.
