Second, we cant stress enough that if you are having any sort of problem with your car or throttle body, 90% of the time its due to a leak between the throttle body and manifold, or sensor problem.

What we recommend to prevent any problems when installing your new throttle body.

1) Make sure you use clear, non adhesive silicone along with the gasket we provide to make sure it has a good seal. Put some silicone on top and bottom of the gasket, and tighten everything down, let it dry for about an hour.

2) Make sure your engine wiring harness and sensors are locked down in place and have clean electrical connections. If the sensor is mounted incorrectly, or if the wiring is not clean, any of these could contribute to a problem.

3) Make sure you attach the vacuum hoses back to their original fittings.

If you have any sort of problems when installing your throttle body, please try the fixes listed above and it should work just fine afterwards.

There seems to ba an issue with the adjustment of the throttle cable not closing and not fully opening the throttle plate. Did the test fitting done on the test car address this problem?

i hate to be the odd man out, but im not having any of the issues that other guys are having. my plate opens all the way and my idle is 750-850rpm, same as before. my throttle cable adj. plate is about 1/16th shy from being pushed all the way towards the TB. i hope that makes sense.
I hope everyone gets theirs figured out. i'll help in any way i can, just let me know you guys...
