4711, Anyone know anything about replacing valve train parts with PT Cruiser parts? Posted by Fast420A, Jul-06-01 03:58 PM
What stock parts would be needed for this to work and whats the highest rpms these parts handle? I want to be able to rev up to 8200rpms if possible or even 8500. I know that it will not be possible to do this until the AFX ECU comes out (if it really exists) Can anyone that has replaced there valve trains post a parts list? Thanks.

Pt cruiser Rockers and lifters Crane Titanium Valve spring kit Crane custom Turbo/nitrous Cams that pull to 8500rpms Stock Valve seals Stainless steel valves Unorthadox Cam gears As well as the head being ported and pollished to accept the air the 75MM mustang throttle body brings through a custom Sheet metel Intake. It work's for me. :)

Now, Here's the question. How are you going to be able to use the power up to 8500 rpms? Is there a way to defeat the 7200rpm fuel cut? Can the PT Rockersand Lifters go up to 8500 rpms? Post up some pics of your car. I know a lot of guys on here want to see it. Thanks.

How are you gonna rev that high? Do you have an engine management system, or did you get a custom ECU made? Please help us that want to rev that high.
