im getting ready to go turbo in like a month or two depending on the answer to my question. I have an rs and a lot of miles at that. i just was wondering what kind of mods i need to do to my motor before i boost it to make sure i do not break anything. I plan on going stage 1 5psi for now. but i just need to know what i need to do, like getting all new seals.Is that a bit over board or not? All right thanks for everything.

go to the turbo section and search this same topic and you'll find all the answers you are looking for.. but the first thing anyone will tell you is, do a compression test (and a leak down test if you can)... if numbers check out, then you will be good to go. but eventually, you will need to rebuild your motor and have a million other things to fix :)... that should get you started
